I am a complete n00b at PSP system files and stuff, but as I was searching through some sites I thought of this idea. Because the PSP's firmware is capable of being flashed and changed, why not add to the firmware a section that allows the reading of a different type of file other than .pbp? Because isn't the authentication signatures only in the pbp or sfo or whatever files? Then the only thing that homebrew developers would hafta do is save their brews into a different file extension. Someone correct me if this isn't possible, please. Thanks in advance.
