Yea i know someone already said this, a possible hack threw the locoroco demo, but my idea goes a step farther.
All of this shouldnt mess with the begining signature (the part before the ~PSP area) the real question is does the eboot look throughout the entire eboot to check the signature? or only the first little bit?
- Open the eboot with a hex editor
- find ~PSP this is where the data for the locoroco demo actually starts
- Now replace ~PSP and farther down with homebrew code for any sort of game, after you get to the end of the homebrew code Zero/blank the rest DO NOT DELETE IT, THIS WILL DEEM THE EBOOT INVALID
- TEST run the game
ive already invesitigated this a little bit and:
note, ill be running some tests on this today, i need someone with 2.7 that i can contact when i finally finish modifying the eboot with the above items.
- the code for the actuall demo goes from the ~PSP mark to the end of the eboot.
