host0 would be either flash0 - or - the gps system itself.
I think the gps system is more likely.. but what can we do with this things?. i mean.. it's not that we can get out a flaw with a possible buffer overflow in it, or can we?

Wlan.prx.......Code:Divide By Zero..Overflow.... Underflow...Inexact Result..: Heap memory corrupted.Unknown signal
OK to sum up on some of the findings.
Firstly the USBCAM, yes the USBCAM does require acess to the Flash0, this is because when placing your USBCAM into the PSP it installs the drivers required to run the device. The USBCAM has been signed by Sony so that the PSP can decide if it is the real deal or not. This is why no CAMs have been relised onto the market by other companies. Now when the CAM is installed the PSP wil create a new system file called PSP CAMERA, under this menu you will find the Following icons for: VIDEO, CAMERA, SETTINGS and VOICE... yes VOICE, the USBMIC is included with the CAMERA, and is for video voice calls.
Now again the GPS again need Flash0 access to create the ICONS, this will include again all the settings for the GPS system, at the moment this has not be finalised and will be deceided at a later date.
The Wlan file above your talking about has been fixed to stop please from using PC to surf the contents of your Memory Stick via file sharing. IE.. if you type in the I.P address of the PSP whilst using WIFI then your PC will not show the PSP's contents. Sorry but this is all that this message means.
I hope this helps you all out... one last thing though is look for a file which has serial in it.... it requires a programmers knowledge to create a flasher sofware for windows which gains access to the PSP using the serial port... this is all I can say.
host0: is part of the devkits, IIRC. Basically they don't run UMDs directly, they run them from a virtual UMD drive on the devkit host PC, called host0.
Virtual UMD drives? If virtual, then it requires an image, yes? Hmm, what prx was that for again?
USBGPS.PRX
It's used to update your postion.. seeing as thought the GPS system doesn't require a UMD to run, the software is downloaded and installed onto a virtual drive and then reloaded via the PSP to create the images etc.
I found some more info about those tags (_TEMP.PBP) seems that game_install_plugin.prx uses it to download eboots from the psp internet browser so it is problay to temproraly save the eboot, before it is finished.
EDIT:

So can we create our own images and use them, or use it to run unsigned code? Or is that not possible?Zitat:
Zitat von madmatty
Im sure it needs to still be signed.
Most likely, but hey, worth a shot when it comes out, right?
TO: Can you please look at this thread. It sounds very promising, but no devs seem to be looking at it or paying any attention. I don't know who else to ask who is on.
Yeah, TeamOverload are the any PRX's for the serial port (AKA microphone or something like that), it sounds like you should look there more.
It needs to be signed.Zitat:
Zitat von marv101
This is correct, it is also used to decompress the Eboot.pbp file and PSAR files.Zitat:

In 2.7 there was, but in 2.71 there isnt.Zitat:
Zitat von vb_master
Can you tell wich file it is in 2.7?
I do not have a 2.7 dump, unfortunately. That would really help me to have a decrypted one.
I dont got it either, is there a way to get a 2.7 dump? because i do got a 2.71 dump
TeamOverload when you get 2.70 dump could you check out the .prx file that they took out in 2.71.
usbgps_serial.prx
If someone gets me a dump sure, but I cant seem to find one.
I have a 2.60 PSP tell me how and I'll do it.
Im not sure, check the PRX Decrypter thread in the PSP Hacks section.
You need a 1.50. Downgrade if you don't have TA-082Zitat:
Zitat von Link88
I made a post in that thread asking anyone who has one or can get one to pm me.
You also need a 2.60 to do the second half.Zitat:
Zitat von PSP Pro_1
So then you downgrade than update ;)
Hopefully this will get somewhere..
i wish i could help.. but.. wel yeah i don't really understand that much.. i still don't get how you guys are gonna find a flaw here.. could someone xplain?
I allready encrypted the files with 1.50 but you need a 2.60 to decrypt the files? if you can help me link88??
Give me the files and I'll finish the decryption process. Check your PM.
Thank you guys so much if you do!!!

No idea if this has already been said, not to bothered either.
This thread is a waste, and ill say this once.
You cannot find an exploit with a decrypted firmware.
And my hopes were just crushed
Link88 check your mail =)
Try sending it again because I didn't get it.
I think its better to upload it to rapidshare? and maby you need to wait a couple minutes because the file is 14 mb...
Sure go for it. PM me the link.

For me please upload to yousendit.com and
send to [email protected].
Yes you can find an exploit with a decrypted firmware, especially if you dissasemble it.
ok link88 check your mail =)
LOL HarleyG is being ignored. Yes there is still hope
