So in short terms what we got so far is:
*we can access the nand by the remote serial by a cable like this? http://nil.rpc1.org/psp/remote.html
*we need a flash program to unbrick the psp? (as many such programs is around for other devices (mp3 player, dig.cameras) it should not be to hard to make?)
*it needs to be flashed with 1.0?
Now, offcourse there's ALOT involved in each of these steps, but basically is this what it comes down to?

I know alot of companies that use Win2k3. I don't know why they do though but I suppose they just want to be up-to-date. And, if it is the price you are wondering about, they are Sony, I am sure they can afford it. And also iball, your just trying to find ways to make him wrong. Sony isn't going to blow money like THAT.
Especially not with the monster losses stemming from the PS3 and failed UMD-video format.
They will look wherever they can to SAVE money within the company.
You don't hammer nails with an million-dollar tank when a simple $3.99 hammer will suffice.

Yeah it died, maybe it shouldn't have, maybe we just need a good enough programmer to make a Flasher. and see, now we have jedimasteryoda, he has come with a lot of usefull information.
OK, fair enough, BUT, why make the system on its own and NOT connected to a server? I think that the program may be on any PSP repair machine that is connected to a server dedicated to PSP repair computers. Sony would conect it to a server. They have no reason not to. And if you think they would be paranoid about someone hacking their server to steal the app, you know and I know it would never happen. And if it did, you think the hacker would get away with it?
