Well the rest of us are doing just fine. He is the problem. We have some good solid information in this thread that we uncovered, not madmatty.

... No. You don't seem to understand. PHP is processed entirely on the server. All the PSP sees when it goes to a PHP-based web site is the HTML output of the PHP script. It does not and cannot actually interpret PHP scripts.

OK, that's fine. But seriously, someone needs to get rid of him, because he seems to constantly derail the actual research here.

I give up. I agree, lock this, and start a new one.

I completely agree. I suprised he hasn't gotten a ban or something. He has been flaming, spaming, and lieing this whole time. And a lot of people have gotten excited over what he has been saying. I would say about 10 percent of this thread is real info, and the rest is rubbish. I think (if I can get the wireless internet at home working again) I'll start a new thread, but I'll make a fact sheet of everything we know from this one. So could we keep it open until I could do that?

I really haven't contributed much to the PSP homebrew community, but this has really got me going. This is really my favorite theory so far.

I can build a cable, is there a place that has sample MAX3232CPE chips? I will just order all the stuff from DigiKey if there isn't a place.

Just went back through some of my info and found something you guys might like to know. On the NAND in the PSP, it is possible to lock it with a code. It then requires a code to be unlocked. The chip can be locked and still readable. What do you guys think are the odds Sony locked it?

And my two-penn'th : the problem in this thread wasn't entirely due to madmatty.
The general hostile flavour and attitude displayed here are exactly the reason why I frequently contemplate giving up on the PSP scene, it's just too depressing.Using firmware v2.00-v3.50? Open up a whole world of homebrew here
