I'm curious... I noticed when ripping my Final Fantasy 6 CD that there were several (about three?) 15.9MB files, "Dummy"/"Dummy1"/etc. Is it possible to remove these files and the game still function properly without them, or would I have to replace them with a smaller file and rename?
Most importantly, after removing the files, would the modified copy of the PS1 game convert from ISO to Eboot?
I think a lot of the games have dummy files that can be removed, which would save a lot of space in the conversion to EBoots, and help better the compression in 3.03 OE-A. Compression cut the size by about 33% with the files still in tact.
Any suggestions on how to remove these dummy files?
