Hello, i'm Tyler Kurash... You may know me for my PSP background work... Anyways... I got bored... So I decided to figure out a productive way to create custom Memory Stick labels for your Memory Stick Duos...
Now... Here is what you will need.
-X-Acto or a utility knife.
-And a Xyron create-a-sticker(10 bucks at Michaels)
The dimensions I used for this were 2CM by 3CM... But you could fine tune it after you experiment a bit, since I had to eyeball trimming the edges anyways. I used 200 Pixels/inch for a nice crisp looking label. Now... Just create whatever design you want in photoshop... Go to town! It can be whatever you want. Now once you are finished, just print it out... Yeah, it will waste a lot of paper... So don't mess up the first time! Now cut out around the label, no need to be precise... Then feed it into the Xyron create a sticker thingy... Pull it out, and rub the plastic cover, to ensure that the adhesive sticks to the paper... Now peel off the clear plastic. And cut (With a ruler and X-acto knife) approximately 1 to 2 MM off each edge of the label. Now you should have a pretty little rectangle. Now, this would work best with a nice photopaper, or whatever... And I am sure many of you have other methods of making stickers... So you can do whatever when you get to this point... as long as you have a nice 2x3CM~ rectangle, with your nice design on it, with a peel away adhesive back... Line up the rectangle with the memory stick, and just estimate the notch on the bottom left corner of the label and cut it off to fit the Memory Stick, attractively. And viola!
I did this in like 5 minutes, so mind the rough and crudeness of everything... Have fun!
