Someone mentioned King of Fighters so I made a couple of SNK backgrounds and also some Capcom backgrounds. Enjoy.

Also attached to this post is droplet I made to convert files to 24-bit BMP format. Note: you can only use this if you have Photoshop (I used CS, not sure if older versions are supported). In case you don't know what a droplet is, I'll tell you; it's an executable file that you drag 'n' drop images onto to run a pre-recorded action on, in this case saving as a 24-bit BMP. Now you know, and use it wisely :angel:

okay, i've touched them up with a new template (style influenced by some awesome skins in this thread).

Made it so the Hue is washed out over the icons, as well as placing characters in better positions so their heads aren't blocked out by the menu itmes..

i didn't like the look of them with the tekken 5 logo on them.. Looks more like an advertisement than a wallpaper i'd like to have on my PSP..

hey yawsa how do you upload ur bgs to the gallery?

well here are a couple that i made up.

Hoepfully they are enjoyed. I tried to make a layout that was not too intrusive to the image and that actually allowed the user to see the icons on the psp.

alot of people don't pay any attention to composition in regards to the fact that these are backgrounds to an interface.
...we'll see if i've done any better. I tried to keep these clean and simple. The content ranges amongs some of my interested. let me know what you think and if i can improve these.

@gdawg hey, I tried using your jessica alba set but it would seem the menu backs (where the icons go) is off, the back lands right in the middle of two icons rather than on the icon i have selected :confused:

Can someone do a 12 month set with the Godfather 1 & 2 and one of Frank Miller's Batman that say what month it is? Thanks!

Um...If someone, anyone, could do a 12 month set for Evangelion, I would REALLY appreciate it.

Umm, yeah...

You can not upload to the gallery. Only respected members who show that they can be responsible and have the respect of the other members of the site from their work, then they can upload. The reason why not everyone can is because it is hard to moderate the pictures that come in and we do not have the extra force to cover all that. I am unsure if anyone is working on uploading backgrounds and background packs made by the users.
