da_chort those backgrounds are so sick, can you resize them for 1.5, I'd do it myself, but you have all of the original files and I imagine the quality would be much better if you were to do it.

The bar provides contrast for viewing the menu :) it's a sensible question
I decided to try my hand at making a background. I didn't make the background image myself, I just changed the pigments, shades, and created the boxes myself (based on the other submissions).
I wanted a background that was similar to the PSP default, because I liked that one. I just had to use a custom one in order to use the 2.0 bootloader, so I made this.

This last image is a Pink Floyd wallpaper I made by playing with photoshop, and the album art for the Dark Side of the Moon 5.1 SCD edition which I'm quite proud of.
