I didn't use my psp for like, a month and it was lying in the deepest and darkest pocket in my schoolbag.
When i finally took it up, it refused to boot. Out of power, i thought.
Then i plugged in the adapter and watched as the PSP kept turning off and on all the time. I didn't know why, but i couldn't boot it. Then, after me and my friend had a look at it, we placed it on my desktop with the umd drive open.
*Sony Boot Melody*
And guess what, it booted! Then shut off again as i picked it up, pulled out the adapter, and closing the umd drive. Strange, i thought. Then i placed it on the desktop once more, with the umd drive open.
We we're stunned. It booted again. After testing, my PSP can now start when the umd drive is open, and shuts off when its closed.
It's a hardware bug of some sort, but i personally think it's awesome and unique! I have no idea how it started though.
Comments, thoughts, everything is welcome!
PS: After a few hours though, i closed the umd drive while placing some homebrew on it, and it still went on, which was.....good, but it ruined the whole "unique" feeling.
