aWare, im sorry I can't give much information on it away right now.
I'm semi-new to the psp scene, but i'm not new to web development.
I've developed a plethora of major sites (a reality site for a client, and an nfl news site), which both brought in a lot of cash not only for me, but for my clients as well.
I've recently decided that I would start on my first project, psp aWare. I've seen the shotty copies and attempted conversions of creating a lackluster (no offense) file sharing program that the psp would be able to communicate with via web browser. So I've attempted to work on my own.
So far i've put a few good days into the project. Basically it's the same idea as some of the others, it will be a file sharing website, but with much more to it, and in a lot greater of a fashion. I don't plan to revoultionize the psp scene in anyway, but i hope to advance it in any positive way possible.
I will be posting screens, and have a beta test available soon.
on a similar note, a member of my team who would like to stay annonymous has achieved a way to downgrade v 1.51x's to 1.5 firmware. I know you all have had your hopes shattered with yoshihiro not meeting his release date, but im sure he's just working out all the kinks and what not. I'm sure a lot of you have your doubts on a team aWare working downgrader(as did I). But I have seen it in action (i have watched the process actually happen), and i've seen a bricked psp as a result from it, along with a downgraded psp as well.
He, nor team aWare will be releasing any information on how-to downgrade due to legal questionability as out project is being released. (a lot of money is going into this project, we can't risk losing even more, sorry)
-If yoshirios downgrader is not released by the time aWare goes public, we won't be held liable for giving out information to you on how to downgrade, but what we can, and will be doing is allowing users to ship us their 1.5x psp's and we will (with the request of the user) set the firmware back to 1.5.
Have no faith if you'd like, we are serious business about everything in which we say. More information will be released shortly.
On a last note, We are more focused on aWare's public release then anything else at the moment. If anyone would like a chance to join the team and help with both the release of aWare and the complete site i will be accepting PM's with the following information Required. Sorry this isn't going to be a smaller team that goes off just peoples hopes and ideas and never gets them accomplished, we WILL get them accomplised thus we require everyone in the team be able to have a helping hand in the project.
So, if you are interested in joining the team please fill out the following information, and send it as a private message to me, thankyou.
Any other contacts:
How you plan to help the project:
I will respond to every private message, and if I select you to provide me with more credentials (such as projects you have worked on), and i approve. Then you will be given a spot on the team.
** I am putting a lot of my own funding into this product and I hope to make some sort of balancing out in the end. In no way now do I plan on charging for a normal membership to the site, and I do not plan on accepting donations before the ENTIRE project is released. I may set up a sort of premium membership of sorts with tons of extra's, ill be working most of the night away on it so we'll see.
*** I'm the man behind the development, basically pushing the funding and doing the coding and intergrating of the actual file system to our website and whatnot. I too am working on the actual file sharing program itself, but other members hold key posistions in the development as well. I'm sure most of you are more focused on a downgrader at the moment so ill shed a tiny bit more information on that.
I myself in no way, shape, or form helped to or created anything for the actual downgrade process itself. That would fall into the hands of other team aWare members. What I can say though, Is I am in development of the actual application forms for the ship to team aWare psp downgrade process. The basics have been layed out, and we plan to have this released by mid september. Im sorry it's not any critical groundbreaking news that the shipping forms have been set up, but I plan to keep you guys updated on every small little step we take.
