I have a little question, someone made that 3D icons of the real xmb and thats look SO NICE on the psp. Now i whant thos 3D icons in that gold color so the dude that made that 3D icons can you PLEASE make them in that gold from the screenshot for me ?? I hope you will and can do this. Thnxx allot

There are some programs (like ACDsee) that modify the colour pallette to increase the number of colors, (it replaces the standard gamma to custom one) for each image, i just want to make sure if an image like that could work, if that can be possible i think that the transparent color can be different from black, i read that the first color on the pallette is the one transparent and have the most number of colors for each image, I really like the glowing/shadow effect do any of you know how that works?, does the shadow effect is a secondary bundled BMP? (like an alpha channel on png's?) and the glowing thing is a hex edited pallete (do you remember how to make a pallette cycles for the win 98/ME startup screen BMP?), I know they are too many questions but i think they can be answered dumping/reversing the original topmenu_plugin.rco and check the image kb sizes (on bmp they can be easily calculated). Alright, well it took me a while to get the colors right and exactly what to use to get them right and also finding out how to get the images to 8bit but I'm done. Hope you like them man.

Anyway thnx buth i has done it myself, looks realy realy nice, buth i hope somone can make the white 3D icons looking more detailed. I mean if you see the browser icons that have under cut out some peaces. Anyway i like this now allot ;-). grtzz

You should have a newly created topmenu_plugin.rco in the same folders as the bmps just waiting to be flashed.

Everyone is probablyg etting sick of me asking but I need to know! I can't get the start.cmd to work, I get the select a program menu. What program do I use to get it to work?
try renaming start.cmd to start.bat
see if that helps.
Its supposed to open up with the Command Line, Command Utility, or whatever its called.

I already resized them to the 64x64 saved them as 8-bit bmp file
and cut off all the stuff that I don't want. The problem is try as I might
(going through the GIMP guide on frontpage word for word and trying about 5 times) I could not get the part to be transparent that I didn't want.
All you would have to do is put in the background color and set it to be transparent please. :o
