look best on darker backgrounds (still learning how to get rid of black border) ;/
and they don't look so washed out on the psp.. it's caused by the capture.prx plugin...


also attached is a template that will help you size and line up your icons perfectly every time! the grey line is the top of the text on the xmb (i.e. Settings, Photo, Music, etc...)

can i request a golden firmware with the icons named C A R L O S?

If you whant all that credits,thats no problem for me dude ;-). I do this for funn and nothing else. The backgrounds in blue and red have a NOT made :) . Anyway if you whant that i puth you name with it thats nio problem for me :Punk: . Grtzz

How many Linux users here would be interested in a bash script to generate the topmenu_plugin.rco?

You will have to have Wine installed though.

I should have it done by the end of today. I'm going to school today (vacation is over)

OK so I'm running on a Mac and I want to install some icons that I made, but I can't use the start.cmd feature. Anybody willing to help? I already have my icons made, not sure if the are correct .bmp files, but I do have the right size.... I'm running on OE-B...

I'd be. Would be even nicer with an easy to use GUI (ie. you can choose wich file you want to use for each icon), but that'd be asking too much I guess ;)

Gonna try with some Ubuntu /Human theme icons.

hey, look..i need help, i took the files, i extracted and i got the topmenu_plugin.rco, well...where do you put it in your PSP?, in what folder..im stuck right at that part, if you could please ask me, please help...

well place it anywere on your mem stick, get pspfiler and flash it to flash0:/vsh/resources/

This is what i "WANT" mine to look like, but I can't seem to find anybody to create the .rco for me even though I have the icons. :Argh: I made the pic smaller on purpose.
