yea just umm if you know how to get the data out of the topmenu then you just do this...
icon-coder -d <iphone.dat> iphone.mig
mig2bmp iphone.mig iphone.bmp
the mig2bmp is included in that XMB icon pack v0.3 whatever the hell its called.
thats the gist of it.

Crushader, Its really easy.
Simply make an oval or circle or whatever, fill it with white, lower the opacity to something less than 50% and just move it up till it looks like a glassy effect.

I had already asked the guy who made those icons for them and the other icons he's used for the other themes when I got that pack from dcemu.co.uk,but he never got back to me..thanks for ripping them from the topmenu Anubis:)

Okay... I've been trying to customise the iPhone icons since Anubis extracted it, but with my limited PS skills I couldnt do much or to be exact nothing!....
Here is what I want to do, and I would be so glad if someone willing to make it for me.
- I want to put the 3D XMB icons (download below) into those glassy looking icons with black backgrounds on the buttons. All icons background should be black, and of course they have to be glassy look.
Someone do it for me please, and I will reward 200k for the person who can make the set I consider good!!!

Because he changed the 01-12.bmp instead of using a custom background, the firmware did not remove the wavy lines.
Simply put, just replace the 01-12.bmp with a valid custom one and you should have the wavy lines
how did he keep the resolution if they can only be 60x34?

he may have freed up some flash0 space to do that, so he can put in a larger 01-12.bmp file in
but if the files too big, it can semi-brick the psp or prevent the icons from displaying correctly
its probably just medium sized i guess
IE resize it to 250x142 and rename it to 01-12.bmp
u wouldnt really need to free up any flash0 space for that though, because its about the same size or less as the regular file size for the 12 themes, although it could prevent some icons from displaying correctly

That fish background came with the iPhone icons package, get it if you want.
instead of having a 64x32 background u can up it to 250x142 and it will still work. i mean its not 480x272 but it is better

I may have you covered in regards to changing your sub-icons.
I've been tinkering with the source code kgsws posted in the XMB Icon Hacking thread.
It may not be as pretty as zmathue's program but at least you can get what you want.
Expect something (good or bad) within the next day or two...
