Btw does anyone know how you can get a black bg on 3.03 OE-C? Xflash doesn't work, and when I edit the 1-12.bmp directly it shows up as white on the XMB.

That's off topic and surprisingly has been asked/answered countless times in the thread. You're problem is you are using a program which doesn't create an image of the proper file size. MS Paint is such a program.Zitat:

I hate continuing with the OT posting but using MS Paint doesn't create a proper file. This has been confirmed by several people including myself; when creating a new image in MS Paint, the bmp ends up a few bytes smaller than required.Zitat:

(Decimal address)
992-6800 edit the shape
7653-7745 edit the contrast
7746-7841 edit the colour
I found when editing the shape that changing C0 to C with a different number seems to make the best patterns for some reason

My waves:
Green lightning - A green lightning effect.
red storm - A mad mixture of red lines.
Is it just me or when you get to the 252525 part of the gradient the wave begins to have a problem with a colour being 00? When I replaced 252525 with 34001E, the wave disappeared but when I replaced it with 34011E the colour showed fine.

Ok people, first of all, please stop cluttering this thread with "how do I change my background to black" posts, there's already enough of them.
And on to the subject:
I just successfully patched my vshmain.prx to load the system_plugin_bg.rco from the memory stick. Along with my rebooter PRX it makes testing different waves a breeze. I'll release the "wave hacker's kit" tomorrow, after I get some sleep :)

ha freak a man i found the line to make the wave black and its only one line(although its stilll somewhat shreaded but not nearly as much as before the zip includes the rco the deflate and a pic of the changed line
