Its more of a matter of preference isn't it?
I like the fractal/spline looking waves.
Others want that PS3 wave effect for some reason.

Hey guys, this is for anyone that thinks any of these waves look like a PS3 wave, to be honest none of them do, Sorry. Have a look at this video, it's a video of a PS3 wave, its a bit long but it was the only video i could find that showed the wave for a while,

when you deflate the flame rco you get the correct size file but something is different because it will not compile to the correct size - can you decompile it and then recompile it and see if it does the same thing that mines is doing. mines always no matter what recompiles to 300k less.Zitat:

i think he did something to the file before its deflated that screws it up. can someone please deflate the rco and then try and recompile it without changing it and see if it does/doesnt work.

I've found a fool-proof way to extract the deflate from a RCO, regardless of how many waves were hexed. This one requires more file manipulation though.Zitat:

This method will ALWAYS give you the right deflate, no matter what.
As for incorrect sized RCO's we need to make a padder to add enough 00's to make it to 41,844 bytes.

I don't want to lose this wave but further modifying of the deflate makes it more unstable (i.e. changes more when u move about the xmb) I want to make it faster or maybe different colors, maybe a slightly different shape? I don't know what can you guys do with this?
