That would be nice. I am about ready to give up, I've been trying for days to figure out how z33 changed so much, but yet the wave still works.

I've tried adding zero's right after the color addresses, and at the end of the file.
But, it takes pages and pages of zeros, an unbelievable amount of zeros to fill up the file size, to get the right size. Nothing has worked for me. :Argh: :Argh:

the deflate is in the rar file with the rco.. i edit line 1DE0 to line 1EA0 so compare those lines to the original and you'll see exactly all i did

yes it is that simple :)
all z33 did was change the colors in a very cool way - he didnt seem to have changed the actual wave at all.
i have modified it a little bit and added a blue tint to the edges - it actually looks pretty cool imo.
my final target is change it to blue and yellow with light blue tints. its a long way off. anyway i will get it.

I don't want to lose this wave but further modifying of the deflate makes it more unstable (i.e. changes more when u move about the xmb) I want to make it faster or maybe different colors, maybe a slightly different shape? I don't know what can you guys do with this?

This has got to be one of the most unique waves I've ever encountered. It appears to be extremely unstable though, like it changes forms multiple times, changes colour, and everything. I love it, I just wish it was a little more stable.
At one point, my XMB looked almost identical to the ps3 wave.

It's prone to change even depending on what your background looks like. This is neat.

Yea I wanted to recolor it myself too, but he did change the wave, compare his .bin to the original at 245d - 5965.

Heres a pic of z1 with original color

yep once again i am wrong - well spotted. its a very subtle change but it is one. i didnt actually check myself (doh lol).

small discovery - those getting the smaller file output - change the part3 file to include about 400 bytes extra blanks (00).
the rco can be bigger than 40.844k but not less.
