Wonderswan was released in Japan, never really reached the US. I enjoy a little game called Mr. Driller, its a sorta puzzle game thats pretty fast paced. Problem is that as of yet i havent found a emu that'll run it at decent speeds. So i play the gbc version. Honestly the chances of finding any games for the swan that are in Engish are pretty low. I dont know japanese. Mr. Driller (swan version) is easy enough to figure out, the menu design is basic enough. Other games...maybe if they dont involve a lot of reading.
One never knows that he might find though.
That said the discussion of roms isnt allowed on this forum...but the discussion of games is just fine. Mr. Driller is a good game.

Wonderswan games are not protected by the ESA because they were never released outside of Japan.

i tried wonderswan out for a while and was disappointed do an extent. No decent roms worth playing, and emulators didnt have very many features. Final Fantasy 1 and 2 were released for it and they have translations for them 99.7% of the way. I would wait out the wonderswan homebrew scene and see if there are any real advancements (im guessin no) but with the lack of games that are understandable, its not worth the trouble. (To me anyways)

Yep. Graphics wise the wonderswan version is superior, but as of yet its to slow to be playable. Until some really good speed increases come out (think YTL) im going to play around with the gbc version. Yeah i found a translation for FF somewhere but thats about it. I must not be looking in the right places.

It's tough to find because it was a small console release. Gunpei Yokoi actually created the console, and its most famous accomplishment is that it ran off of a single "AA" battery. Sadly, he died before he could see it really try to become something.

I think the WonderSwan was known for RPGs more than anything, for example, I THINK Final Fantasy 1-IV were re-released for it, maybe V but I'm not sure about that one.
