    Standard Donkey Kong Country and Mario RPG

    I am using TYL and the game slows down really bad all the time what do you think I should put the settings on to make this either not happen at all or happen alot less?

    i never had a problem with dkc, mario on the other hand is always going from too fast to too slow

    I heard that Mario RPG crashes the TYL emulator. Because it contains mosaic effects.

    I would stick with uo_snes9x_002y032 until TYL has most of the bugs removed.

    In my opinion TYL is the best but has too many bugs at the moment. But each to their own.

    I think Mario RPG state saves have a pretty good chance of crashing/freezing up on SNES9x emulators (happened to me and several others) and runs at an OK speed, the TYL emulator runs noticeably slow during actual gameplay but as of yet I haven't gotten any broken saves from using the emulator.

    The new TYL emulator is now out and they have fixed the problem with mosaic effects. So Mario RPG should no longer crash not that I have ever actually experienced it but others have. I will try it out tomorrow to see if the game runs any smoother. Any one else who want's to try the new TYL and let us know if its smoother go ahead.
