This is a discussion on SnesTYL 0.2c Compatibility : What game? What setting? Answered! within the ROM Discussion forums, part of the PSP Development, Hacks, and Homebrew category; At least some games are playable smoothly. Maybe 20-30% Some of the "stars" are not..... but really, really pretty close ...

I've posted this elsewhere but I'm having a weird problem running snes9xtyl v0.1 on v2.00 firmware (using fanjita's brilliant eboot loader).
The problem is this: When running a ROM I can't use the dpad or analogue stick and press a firebutton at the same time. ie I can't do a low sweeping kick in Street Fighter 2 (down + X), I can't move and fire in R-Type and I can't run in Flashback. Anybody else having this problem? |

i can't wait for a new version to be released? I noticed no one has mention Super Star Wars, Super Empire Strikes Back and Super Return Of The Jedi, these games all play pretty well with 333mhz and 0 frameskip.

Is Darius Twin truly fully playable because I have all these other games which are fully playable with 0.2c, but with darius twin the emulator progresses to the end of level one, i get the warning for the boss fight, but the boss never appears, and there is no way to progress.
I thought that i might have a faulty rom, but when i use the same rom in snes9x on my computer it works fine. I was just wondering if this problem was unique to me or if other people experience it too. |

Not a single game runs at 60fps for me, Mario Allstars for example......frameskip auto, 333mhz, 4/3, vsync off runs like crap. When I jump I can see some speedchanges very well. Its around 51fps.....whats wrong dammit
^^ ?EDIT: I got an idea...maybe its because I'm using european roms, and the speedhacks only work with us roms ?! bye cube Last edited by Cubeikon; 12-11-2005 at 09:35 AM.. |

[B]Sorry, if this may be off topic, but has anyone noticed the same problem that you would have if you have played Breath of Fire II on the SNES Emulators, if you play this game in the computer on the emulator ZNES(ZSNES) or whatever it is called along with all the other emulators except for one, it freezes up, after you get inside the first battle, after the game intro. Only SNES9X on the computer worked fine, however if you use SNES9X TYL on the PSP, and play the game, you get that problem yet again, Breath of Fire II is one of the best RPGs in SNES, and it doesnt work, does anyone have this problem, along with it, is there way to fix this problem on the PSP such as changing settings, or another emulator?
The problem that happens is that the game freezes, but the PSP doesnt, just the game, after you win or run away from the first actual battle. (the battle with the two main characters near the first town).
