What about Legend Of Zelda: Link To The Past? I see on the front page that The Legend Of Zelda works good...but what about LTTP?
Thanks Again!

Currently Playing:
Super Punch Out (Great on Psp)
Tales Of Phantasia (Also great with settings)
Super Mario World (Works Great)

I wish I could get chrono trigger working good...

link to the past runs great from what i've played with a frameskip of 1 and full screen it runs almost perfect
i was playing tales of phantasia but it was a bit too choppy for me.

Anyone know if final fantasty IV (the patched version so final fantasy 2 in the US) works, or does the initial FF2 on this page refer to the realistic "FFIV" godamn square, what's your problem!?

Sound - on @ 22khz
GFX engine - psp accel. +accu soft
Frameskip - 0
Render PAL as NTSC - off
Smoothing - on
Speed Limit - on
VSync - off
CPU Clock - 333mhz

hope that helps for those who want to play the game. i find it quite humorious that the psp can run full on 3d graphics that are just **** amazing, yet it screams when you try to play a SNES game without the right settings. we can only hope that someone comes up with a method of at least doubling the speed at which games are run. perhaps the gpu can be used for something unlike normal emulators? just a thought

how do you change these settings???i am running psp fw 2.0 w/eboot loader v 0.9 and snes9xtyl v0.1 and i can only figure out how to change the CPU clock speed....

The reason is the coding, because It's a very new version, and because of the fact that the PSP is a new machine to work with, it takes time to learn all the tweaking, programming etc etc...
In 1 year, we will probably have even GBA emus working FINE

screen size:full

I'm using the new GTA eLoader on my 2.01 PSP and I'm having trouble playing a lot of SNES games. For example, Super Mario World which the first post says runs perfectly runs laggy even at 333mhz, and only becomes playable at frameskip 3. Is this due to the eLoader still being in its beta stage? I'm using uo_Snes9x and not SNESTYL because that was the emulator that was recommended, and TYL doesn't work on the eLoader yet.

I use uo_Snes9x on a 1.5. It sounds like it could be the eLoader needing refinements.

I've always needed to run my PSP at 333mHz with a frameskip of 1-3 to get SNES games to run smoothly, regardless of what firmware I was on.

Same here.. it's just hard to know if they're experiencing worse than usual slowness at this point. I haven't seen any known 1.50/2.0 users who updated post results yet.

If you've both had to use frameskip in the past does that mean that the initial post in this thread is wrong or something? As it does specify that certain games run flawlessly on max settings...

There are romsites which offer archives of every single dump available of the game you download - Including unofficial hacks, which in turn includes pre-patched translations. Just look for them.

Paperboy 2 runs perfectly 333mhz, 22 (sound) and auto frameskip.

Super Smash TV runs perfectly with the above settings.

Out of this World freezes (screen goes and stays black) after the title screen. Maybe it's a bad rom, anyone please confirm this.

seiken densetsu 3 (secret of mana 2) works like **** now. before you could have music at full speed with jerky motion, or slow sound with smooth motion. now its just plain slow no matter what you try. progress ftw!
