I ve got a big problem with the neoGeoCD Emulator.

Everytime I try to load a iso I get the error Message:

"Could not open ipl.txt"

and then the emu exits.

Can somebody please help me?

You need to extract the iso. After this you'll get a list of tracks. The first one has the game data and the rest the music for the games. Extract the first track and place all the files in a new folder in the Neogeo folder, you'll notice ipl.txt is one of the files. If you want the music in the game (not required), place the remaining tracks in the game folder you just created in a folder called neocd.mp3

i got the king of fighters rom and it was set up in several parts like kof98c2._rom and so on , but it does not have an ipl.txt , any suggestions?

Sounds like a bad rom, you may have to re-download it or download it from somewhere else (or find someone who has the IPL.txt for that game) I'm not sure if its different from game to game, im presuming it is

I am also trying to get this to work. All of the neogeo zip files I've seen are filled with .bin files, including MetalSlug 1 and 2. Are there different roms for different emulators?

use neogeo cd roms not neogeo cartridge roms
and also use "neocdz psp" not "neo cd psp"
Make sure you have the neocd.bin bios and the latest version of the neo cdz emulator
v0.3.0

And also when you get a rom neogeo cd extract the contents of the ISO file because the ISO will not run.

The reason the roms you are using are not working are because you are using neogeo cartridge roms. Remember the Neo Geo cd emulator needs roms that are neogeo cd. it is an easy mistake (i haven't made it myself) but make sure you read what you are downloading next time.

why would u have to change config manualy? my settings are saved in the emu when i exit and can change any setting in menu. also i always leave my load screen to no cause it loads alot faster, while doing this i have music and 60FPS+
