Alright. I'm trying to run the Snes9x v0.2 on a PSP with v1.50, but every time I try to run it, I get "The game could not be started. (80020001)" I've tried messing around with where the snes9x is installed, but I can't fix it. Anyone have any ideas to a solution?

On a version 1.50 you have to split the eboots using KXploit tool or seipsptool. There is a feature in them that lets you export the split eboots directly in the right place on the psp. Put the roms in folder without the % sign as well as any other files included in the zip or rar except for the original eboot

I understand the beginning, but when you say a feature in KXploit that seperates the boot files, do you mean a program? Because I can't find a program. All that it is a whole bunch of Emus. |

If the emulator download only came with 1 eboot file and that is it, follow these steps to do it yourself (Or you could go to Legion's Pre-made eboot thread, i think it is located somewhere in the FAQ section of the forums-->Homebrew Hacks Help)
1.) Open up the latest KXploit version. If you do not have it, please download it (KXPloit Tool 0.3) 2.) Once downloaded, install the program onto your computer 3.) Then run the program. If the program is in spanish, click on the right text in the drop-down-menu area and select english (Near top of program window) 4.) Fill the Name: box with the name of the hombrew you are installting 5.) Where it says PBP File, go to the right and click on the [...] 6.) Once the file browser opens up, guide the browser to the homebrew eboot file that you downloaded and click and and click open 7.) Then, connect your PSP using the USB-to-Mini B cable (PSP Transfer Cable) and establish a USB Connection (Go to USB Mode on your PSP under Settings) 8.) Once a connection is established, select the drive from the PSP Unit box that your PSP is connected to (In most cases it appears last on the list). 9.) Then click generate files. The eboot and folders have been moved now to your PSP. In some cases, extra files/folders are required to play. Just locate the original download folder and copy any file that is located with the original eboot. |

It lags like HELL. I've played with the settings, and I can't change it. Any other crazy remedies? I know, I said I got it once, but it came back again. Last edited by nyiddle; 09-29-2005 at 03:41 PM.. |
