Blue screen of death??

This is a discussion on Blue screen of death?? within the ROM Discussion forums, part of the PSP Development, Hacks, and Homebrew category; Can somebody please tell me wtf this is? I got it when i played a rom from snes....

It's just like a bsod in windows.. the rom caused your psp to crash. Most likely it's a rom that conflicts with the system.

that happens to me if i tried to play a UMD with file assistant

The person who made the emulator made that to appear if there was an error.
Your rom's probably corrupt.

This has never happened to me, however, the screenshot says that it doesn't turn it off.. it says "returning to PSP menu in 10 seconds". It definitely wouldn't brick the PSP.

OK to fools, what it is it you are running a UMD emulator or some other UMD type program and then loading the emulator. Turn on your system and go straight to the emulator without first doing any UMD stuff and the emulator shouldn't crash

Uhm, who is the fool now if i say i dont have an UMDemulator on my psp?

well u still have an emulator..but whatever, ya ive gotten that BSOD before, and everything is fine afterwards
