a little confused

once again im going to ask a question that is completely newbish. i have tried to understand it on my own but im not sure i quite get so here it goes. what is the difference between a rom and an emulator. im under the impresion that an emulator=console and rom=game and you need the emulator to run the rom. am i correct or am i way off. ane again sorry for the ignorance but im getting better. :icon_smil

one more quick question. the psp brick virus comes in what form? is it from when you download the roms or when you start up/downgrading your psp? i really dont see how you could get the virus from a rom cause it just gets wrote to your memory card. im just checking cause i dont wanna mess up, peace.

The virus is supposedly found in ISO's. ISO's are essentially PSP game ROMs. Since they're illegal, don't use them! ;)
