Need Help to get together some Roms

Hi everyone!! I manage to get some Neo Geo CD roms but they are separated by parts. The tricky part is, How to put them together?

Ok for example I tried to extract SS4 and here’s what I did

1.I did an “extract here” the first SS4.rar.part1 document, from there came;
a.Another SS4 winrar document, to this file I did another “extract here” and came:

b.A SS4 file, inside there’s “48 MP3 files” Actually they are 47 because the first one is another winrar document. If I do another “extract here” to this file comes; 317 icons (this icon is the same one like the 2.0EBOOT.PBP)

c.dcforums document (some Flat PC monitor Icon)

d.blsng document (some Flat PC monitor Icon)

e.file_id notepad document with this inside:

2.Now if I try to do an “extract here” to the SS4.rarpart2 document, it ask me if I want to replace the SS4 winrar document ( the one from letter a.)

3.I changed the location to be extracted and unzip the very same document from the first one. I do the same with the others and it’s the same. :Argh:

Don't know if I explained myself well but, if someone knows what I talking about and know how to put this roms together I'll appreciate your help. :Jump:

It SOUNDS like you're trying to unzip something that's spread over multiple rar files. You should just be able to open the 1st one then hit extract and it'll tie the archives together (make sure they're inthe same directory) then extract them.

First of all I want to thank you for your reply! Now If I extract the first one and try to extract the others on the same folder it will replace the first one for the second, you know what I mean? What I want to know is how can I extract the rest of the files on the same directory/file without replace/overwrite the first one?

When you extract the first one, and you didn't get any error message, it means Winrar has automatically extracted the various parts. You don't need to extract part 2, 3, and so on... It is done.

Now, you will need to extract the .iso inside the folder you has just extracted. Do that, and you can either rezip the files you you extracted from the .iso BUT in .zip (not rar) format OR just copy everything to your PSP.

Put the mp3s into a new folder that's named neocd.mp3, copy everything to your PSP and you are done. Report back if you are having trouble still...

Ohh that makes some sense...I'll try that tonigth and I'll let you know. Yeah I got the BIOS, I just wanted to get some more NGCD games to play them with the PSP. Thanks Tech!!! :icon_bigg

Now I'll try to install the newest neo geo cd emulator because the one I have it's kinda old. I hope I won't have any problems intalling it. If so I'll report back and see if someone can help me out again.
