Help with Game Genie
hi everyone, so i just downloaded the NesterJ NES emulator and put a few games on there and also Game Genie. I see under each game that there is an option to load a Game Genie file with codes so that you can play the game with the codes. My question is how do I do this? I have a saved Game Genie file but everytime I try to load the cheats it say that the loading failed.
Thanks!!!

make them a text file and they should work.
1.50 > 1.52 > 2.00 > 1.5 > 1.5 (POC CF) > 1.5 (Harleyg) > 1.5 (Casual) > 3.03 OE-A > 3.03 OE-C
If I remember correct, you have to create a file called: GENIE. Then add all the codes

I have ALOT of the game genie codes for NesterJ. I have a couple questions for the mods I guess. Can I upload them here for anyone to take? The properties on the files says its 19.9 MB it contains 5,109 files 480 folders. If I try to put them ALL on ly MS, it takes up like 400MB! WHY??????

You put the genie codes in a file called GENIE. The GENIE file goes into the nester file (it'll be above the SAVES file in the list. Bring up the submenu and goe to load codes. Find the name of the game you want. You have to add the codes yourself. The re-enter the submenu and continue game.

Sorry to bring up a dead thread...
Id rather make my 1st post in an existing thread, rather than make a new thread and have all the replies cry repost!
Anyways.. Ive been searching all over the net for premade GameGenie TXT files for nester J.
Im sure someone out there compiled a list and have it zipped onto NesterJ format. Yes i know how to make my own codelists, but to save EVERYONE time and energy, has anybody done it yet?
Does anybody have any good links where to download them?
Also i remember back in the day there were a few "html" books loaded with Game Genie codes zipped. Having this would make life alot easier for the people who are interested in having the cheat codes available. Anybody know if the Authors of NesterJ would ever program the option to add codes on the fly? Like UO_SNES9x?
Id like to help the psp homebrew community by compiling a list of txt files for each game ( well popular game) and creating a "text pack" but i am writing this post to prevent duplicate works.
If anybody has pre-written codes, please attach them as zip files here, or send them to
If i get any replies i will compile one large list and post a new thread here, and hopefully the site authors will host it as a downloadable file.
