Mega Wind Blast

OVERDRIVE...then 8x Mega Wind Blast.....or using Blue and Casting Overdrive then 8x Life Sprinkler.....jeez this game owns...I want to play it on my PSP soooooooooo bad

yeah chrono trigger is a sick game, FROG ROCKS, you cant beat him and his music is awsesome

it's on my list of games to play.

I wouldn't start out with FFVII...of course, that's because I just didn't like the game that much. As has been repeated many times in this thread, to each his own. I liked FFVIII much more, but maybe that's what I started with? I don't know, I was a late-bloomer.

Final Fantasy 3, U.S., otherwise 6 in Japan, is way more fun than Chrono Trigger.

FF3 (6 in Japan) is my favorite hands down; played and beat Chrono Trigger way too many times but it's still a fantastic game and just shows how much replay value it can hold. I've played most FFs and the ones I would recommend are Vll through Vlll for a good playthrough. X isn't so bad either..

you cant even compare ff3 to chrono trigger, CT just ahs better characters and a story line, and the battles are way better

So.. is B-pops finally enjoying some good old Final Fantasy?

Final Fantasy 3 (6)'s story is deeper than Chrono Triggers. Chrono Trigger is a more enjoyable game though.

i downloaded the final fantasy roms 4,5,6...They are all in japanese i cant find the english versions. Anyone know where i can find them?

Honestly...I play rpg's for the story mainly. Final Fantasy VI and VII are probably the best in the series if your looking for story content.

The thing I've always liked about the FF series are the combat and ability systems that are unique to each game. When you click with the system and learn how to use what you have effectively - every battle becomes a little puzzle to solve with a clear answer. The Materia in FFVII was the best in that regard (imo), and that game remains my favourite.

But it's horses for courses, mate. If a subtle turn-based game like that doesn't appeal, why force yourself ? Try something a little more action-oriented like Grandia.

Final Fantasy is too easy for me >_> I go for the awesomely designed cult RPGs. The Shin Megami Tensei Series, Persona, and Digital Devil Saga :D

I know Pokemon is definately not the best RPG, but it's my favorite. It's easy to understand, which is good, cuz' RPG tend to get complicated when you like action games.
