can i play with the emulator with firmware 2.5?

Nope you can't play emulators on 2.01 firmware and above (as far as I know).

Well you could update to 2.6 seeing as you can't play homebrew, and you could make use of the extra features in it. Such as RSS feeds and WMA playback

No you cant downgrade from any firmwares except for 2.0

how long doe it takes before hackers have an 2.5 versien to downgrade or play illegal games!

Tim, for heaven's sake dude, you cannot do anything homebrew related on anything higher than 2.0. The only firmware versions that you can play homebrew on are 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0. If you have 2.5, there is no way currently to play homebrew on your firmware. If you really want the features of 2.6, go ahead and update, but if you dont care for them, all you can do is play the waiting game and see if anyone ever hacks 2.5.

In the future, Use search.
