I've been playing SNES games alot these days while anticipating for next version of SNES9xTYL like rest of you. I usually adjust game speed with Frameskip function when game lags considerably.

If you go to menu, there's 'Hack/Debug menu' on the bottom, which deals with 'Fast mode 7'.

I know that Mode 7 games like Super Mario Cart lags more than other games and just fiddling with Frameskip isn't really enough(although I don't know much about Mode 7 to be honest).

First, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about Mode 7 (and why they affect game speed so much) and second, what can you do with 'Hack/Debug menu' to make game speed better for Mode 7 games if there is any way.

Well, can't wait for next version and just trying to get most out of 0.2c.
