I doubt it but if its an SNES game it might be Mech Warrior.

Edit: By the way, that fighter game was for SNES. Is Streets of Rage for SNES? BTW, Double Dragon is a 1 on 1 normal fighting game. Thats not what the game is. This game, like I said above, is a 'side-scroller' taking on multiple enemies.

i think the western game u were thinking of is Wild Guns. a great game, u could play as a "clint eastwood" looking guy, or a girl, 2 player, western, fought a big robot as the first boss, pretty much what u described

Double Dragon is a side-scrolling beat-em-up, it's not 1 on 1. There's 3 double dragon games, the seond one is the best. I'm pretty sure all 3 are for the regular NES though. However, there is a "Super Double Dragon" for the SNES, but I haven't played it before.

Hammer 12, could the Sidescrolling game you're thinking of be Pit Fighter? I believe the home edition had a 1vs1 mode in it. Not sure though, I mostly only remember playing the Arcade Version.

I might have just described 1/2 of all SNES games ever made : ) , but I do remember a few specific details: There was some kind of connection to a black panther, (or tiger, or other big cat, though for some reason I'm almost sure it was a panther). I think you might have been looking for a panther, or some kind of major event happened around it. I remember two levels: one in a city fighting mutants (or criminals, or other bad people), one in some kind of computer core with crazy organic stuff growing on it (which may or may not have contained aliens or real freaky mutants). At one point, I think you might have had to give a bad person your ID, which forced you to go into this city, though I might be remembering this wrong. For some reason I have the impression that this game had a branching plot, meaning you had to make permanent choices which would affect where you went.

Honestly, it's pretty funny how I can remember a few really specific details, but totally lose the broad idea of the game. If anyone could tell me what game this was, I'd really appreciate it.

None of the other stuff is in Out of This World, though. I just beat it and don't remember any computer cores or anything. I do remember a rather large black cat-like beast in the beginning, though.

I played three games like Out of This World and Flashback, but I can't remember the name of the third. The two I know about were made by Delphine Software, the third I am not so sure about, but I remember an energy whip you could use to swing around with.

Flashback = guy with brown jacket, has a loud handgun to fire. Cops on jet-packs are a pain in the butt.
Out of This World = guy with red hair, black t-shirt, and a laser gun. Hulking aliens abound. It is known as Another World outside the US.

I am hoping that User123abc and I might be thinking of the same game so that the mystery will be over. :confused:

This game is of I believe it was like a little wizard...it was for nes. You had to move blocks around to get to the other side or something...a puzzle-like game it isn't solomon's key I checked that already. And Manic miner wasn't it either. I've recently played to sokoban game on my PSP and that kinda reminded me of it....any help will be appreciated

I am playing Lolo, it is in a castle, and you push blocks around to help you solve each room. Each room is like a puzzle. Little blue round guy with big eyes sound familiar?
