since this is a post about seraching a name game well i will try to ask the question here beside making a new post
This was a nes game. dunno how to describe it but that was a puzzle platform game.. you were a lil guy and your goal was to unlock the door and there were hiden key in the level and some was just invisible you were need to just walk there to discover that key. dunno if that can help you.
its been years that im trying to find the title out of it
Sounds like Solomon's Key
nope not solomon's key :( just cheked .. well you were a miner not a mage ;P and its not something with digging just a miner who find keys in a caves and some other bonus points
Manic Miner then
Well let me take a shot at this and see if you guys can guess the name of this game i liked on the gamegear. it was a helicopter game you would resque soldiers or refugee's i think and land them near the you base. you can only pick up like 10 people i think. Any idea what the name was for that game.
and one other street fighter game. but i forget which edition it was. it was fast paste game, and you could kill with Ryu's Haryuken 1 hit kill with 20 hadukens form from that haryuken. it was the best game i played in the arcade 10 years ago.
the mining game could be boulderdash
nastynasnyc, the gamegear game is Choplifter.
The street fighter game is one of the many arcade hacks of sf2 that were about in the day... they go under many names but one of the most common is Rainbow Edition
Hey,
Ahh the days of the Nintendo's SNES. I remember back in the days where it was the current system, and boy the games and time will never be the same in any game. I remember some of the games that I had like, Rise of the Robots, Inspector Gadget, Donkey Kong, but there is one game that I forget the name of it and boy was it fun.
I need help from all of your memories. The game I'm looking for is a 'fighting game' but not your normal fighting game. In this game you have a character that moves along the screen, (like a side scroller) and as you move along you take out many enemys at a time on the screen. It also had a 'fighting/boxing' Arena. Please help, if you know what game I am talking about please tell me the name of it. This was a fantastic game, and I really want to bring back those memories.
Also, there is another 'western game' (NOT Wild Guns) where you can play single player, or multiplayer, and in each level you have to find and kill whoever was on the (Wanted Paper). I also remember that in one of the levels there was a bolder.
Anyways, any helo would be appreciated.
Sunset Riders I beleive. Just played it the other day.
you already posted this thread dude, why do you hafta post it twice
well, the SNES game that you describe seems to be Final Fight.
It's not Final Fight. Damn, I'm screwed. :(
nope that not boulder dash ( its too cartoonish ) and its more like maner manic but this is not from nes and not totaly like that. its like a platform puzzle so if you fall you can die. I did some research on manic miner but that not it :\ someone should know that game and the level is when you have opened the door the next level is below you so the level scroll down to up!
i try to say more info i can tell about that game and remember its for NES 8 bit system
pills rule
I can’t remember a lot but I remember playing a game were there were many super heroes lick iron man and others it was a 2 players team thing
Captain America and the Avengers, i'm guessing this is the game your speeking off, its for the genesis, right?
thanks dude for the info, do you know which emulator plays that streetfighter rainbow edition like i described. It wouldn't be MAME would it?Zitat:

cool :o
If you guys are willing to help out, I've also got a "mystery game." I rented it a long time ago, and have since wanted to finish it.
It was an SNES game. A sidescroller, in the vein of Super Metroid. You controlled a guy in some kind of futuristic world.
I might have just described 1/2 of all SNES games ever made : ) , but I do remember a few specific details: There was some kind of connection to a black panther, (or tiger, or other big cat, though for some reason I'm almost sure it was a panther). I think you might have been looking for a panther, or some kind of major event happened around it. I remember two levels: one in a city fighting mutants (or criminals, or other bad people), one in some kind of computer core with crazy organic stuff growing on it (which may or may not have contained aliens or real freaky mutants). At one point, I think you might have had to give a bad person your ID, which forced you to go into this city, though I might be remembering this wrong. For some reason I have the impression that this game had a branching plot, meaning you had to make permanent choices which would affect where you went.
Honestly, it's pretty funny how I can remember a few really specific details, but totally lose the broad idea of the game. If anyone could tell me what game this was, I'd really appreciate it.
I think the game you are thinking of is "Flashback". It's a very very cool game that resembles the style of Super Metroid and is in a futuristic world. I hope it's the right game!
Hey,
Looking for two specific games for the SNES.
1. It's a 'side-scrolling' fighting game where you take on multiple enemys on the screen. In addition to this, as an extra you are able to have a '1 on 1' boxing match in a 'boxing/wrestling' arena
- This game IS NOT 'FINAL FIGHT' !
2. This is a 'side-scrolling' western game where you and/or a buddy can play along. I remember at the beginning of each level it showed a "Wanted" poster of a villin in which you have to kill/capture. I remember in one of the levels, there was a big rock or bolder that chased after you.
- This game IS NOT 'SUNSET RIDERS' !
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Hammer
That game IS Sunset Riders, I remember ALL of those things.
Ill take pics of each if its necessary
Hey, this is fun. Hammer_12 I think you might be looking for either Streets of Rage, Double Dragon, or . . .I forgot the last one, but I don't think thats it anyway.
But can anyone help me out. This game was for SNES. You chose a robot to pilot and just destroy things. If your robot get too damaged you would have to evacuate and pilot a jet pack where you where only armed with something that seemed like a hand gun until you can find another robot. Thanks.

I doubt it but if its an SNES game it might be Mech Warrior.
Edit: By the way, that fighter game was for SNES. Is Streets of Rage for SNES? BTW, Double Dragon is a 1 on 1 normal fighting game. Thats not what the game is. This game, like I said above, is a 'side-scroller' taking on multiple enemies.
hey, hammer 12,
i think the western game u were thinking of is Wild Guns. a great game, u could play as a "clint eastwood" looking guy, or a girl, 2 player, western, fought a big robot as the first boss, pretty much what u described
Double Dragon is a side-scrolling beat-em-up, it's not 1 on 1. There's 3 double dragon games, the seond one is the best. I'm pretty sure all 3 are for the regular NES though. However, there is a "Super Double Dragon" for the SNES, but I haven't played it before.Zitat:

Hammer 12, could the Sidescrolling game you're thinking of be Pit Fighter? I believe the home edition had a 1vs1 mode in it. Not sure though, I mostly only remember playing the Arcade Version.
so no one knows about the game im looking for? :( maybe it was just a dream lol! ^.^;
or i will need to download evrysingle game and hope i will find it one day ^.~
Oh my God, it was 'Ultimate Fighter'! I can't believe I forgot the name. Anyone looking for a GREAT, GREAT fighting game, check this one out!
:D I actually played flashback (good game), and I remember it pretty well. That's not it, though. I just wanted to resurrect this thread, maybe somebody else knows what game I was talking about?Zitat:

I'm pretty sure that the game you're referring is Out of this World. It's in the vein of Super Metroid and Flashback.Zitat:

did you have the ability to swing by some type of energy whip?Zitat:

None of the other stuff is in Out of This World, though. I just beat it and don't remember any computer cores or anything. I do remember a rather large black cat-like beast in the beginning, though.Zitat:

I played three games like Out of This World and Flashback, but I can't remember the name of the third. The two I know about were made by Delphine Software, the third I am not so sure about, but I remember an energy whip you could use to swing around with.
Flashback = guy with brown jacket, has a loud handgun to fire. Cops on jet-packs are a pain in the butt.
Out of This World = guy with red hair, black t-shirt, and a laser gun. Hulking aliens abound. It is known as Another World outside the US.
I am hoping that User123abc and I might be thinking of the same game so that the mystery will be over.
This game is of I believe it was like a little wizard...it was for nes. You had to move blocks around to get to the other side or something...a puzzle-like game it isn't solomon's key I checked that already. And Manic miner wasn't it either. I've recently played to sokoban game on my PSP and that kinda reminded me of it....any help will be appreciated
