Unhappy SNES ROMS lag?

so...my friend told me how to put SNES games on my PSP!!! but...when i try to play Chrono Trigger or any SNES games, its very VERY laggy. It takes forever to move a character to one place to another cuz of the lag. Anyone have the same problem or is it just me? Maybe is it because i only have 32 mb as a memory stick??

There are things you can do to try and remedy the problem. It's quite playable. Go to the menu(push left on the control nub) and increase the clock frequency to 333mhz. Change the sound frequency to 11khz and increase the frameskip to 1. Turn transparency off. Make sure the screen size is on normal. I usually get 45 fps+ with these settings. Also, before you ask any more questions, read this faq: http://www.psphacker.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2323

Just clock it 333 Mhz with 3 frameskip. Runs like a charm.
