Default Super Mario question

Hi all,

Is there a colour version of super mario land for RIN? This is one of my all time fav games and I was wondering if there is something similiar for the RIN emu in colour. I'm not asking for a link, just the name of the full game so I can search for it.

I know there is super mario bros for NesterJ, but I'm specifically looking for RIN versions of the game

Thanks

Yes there is, and it has some extra features.

It's called Super Mario Brothers Deluxe

Nope, Super Mario Land is a different game than Mario Deluxe

Super Mario Land was an original Gameboy Game, not a port of the NES game Super Mario Bros.

As for a GBC version of Super Mario Land, I don't think Nintendo made one. The GBC was about the time they started getting into the Mario port business.

Wicked thanks guys, thats what I was looking for, it works really well with RIN. Its more playable than the NES version for nesterj. So what other titles were ported over to GBC?

The reason I ask is cos if I can't get a game to work well using the Nesterj emu, I can always find it for RIN as RIN works really well.

And you couldn't get Super Mario Bros. to work on Nesterj, why?

It did work, it was just kinda slow and unplayable without messing about with the settings. Whereas the RIN version of the same game doesn't require any tweaks and it defaults to a bigger screen size. I guess its just personal preference.

When Nintendo ported Super Mario Bros over to the GBC, they left it in its native resolution. This caused the vertical screen scroll. Its a normal thing and can't be changed.

The problem was fixed when Super Mario Bros was ported to the GBA for the Classic NES games. Nintendo removed many lines of resolution from the games to make them fit the GBA screen.

I'd recommend playing the game on Nester.
