Default Have anyone actually uses the NEO-GEO roms?

I'm not taking about the pocket version, but the actual Neo-Geo roms like The King of Fighter or Metal Slug. These games were huge, like 300-500megs each in a cartrige. I can't imagine them running that great on a PSP especially if some Snes games are having trouble. How good are the neo-geo emu, and do they run some what smooth? As long as its playable I will consider installing the emu.

there is no neogeo emu that runs roms.

there is only neogeo cd and neogeo pocket.

neogeo cd games can be small as hell without audio.

Well, the neogeocd one works pretty damned good, so asking for something like that isnt a waste at all, except that there IS one that works good and many neogeo cart games also came out on cd, it runs everything I've thrown at it at like 80%. I dont care if its metal slug from neocd or from the cart, the game is the same. I am a little amzed more people seem to try the neogeo pocket emu than the neogeocd, but whatever, if they like GBC style games thats fine I'll take arcade perfect dealies.

80% huh? You must be running a different emulator than me. Graphics wise they're perfect, but speed wise... 80%? More like 30%. Even Puzzle Bobble is unbearably slow.

I must be, puzzle bobble and ironclad seem nearly full speed. Are you using super compressed zips or something? or the early version of the emu? I'm using .01b, there was also a .01 with no b released I think, but I didnt think there was any speed change between them.

metal slug is the one thats a lil' slow, havent tried any fighting games becuase the psp dpad isnt up to them.

neogeo carts came in megabit size.. not megabyte . two different things. I have all neogeo roms there are except for two that i have been searching for for about 6 or 7 years now, and the largest one is king of fighters 2002 and it is 40 megs zipped.
