I second that. PSP Genesis is definently the best, just because the sound is exactly what it should sound like on the actual console, though the other genesis emulators have crappy sound.

I prefer DGEN by FAR.
9 save states, fast emulation under preformace mode with the CPU clocked at 266mhz, great cheat support, and 3 different modes of frame skipping. Though I do believe that PSP Genisis is more compatable with games, but I never bothered to check. Also sometimes, I notice that DGEN has choppy audio. Sadly, DGEN doesn't work under 2.0 Firmware. |

1. I am too lazy 2. Even if I brought myself to do it, I am already too attached to all the features of 2.0 and I can't go back to a plain 1.5 again.

2.0 features arent that great.
i upgraded for a week and i found it a pain. slow web browser the crappy interface for the eboot loader. setting your own pictures for your backrounds is alright i'd rather have a perfectly fine 1.5 that can play most games and all homebrew plus with your own custom pictures and music for each emulator in the psp's bios

i would definatley use pspgenesis. It is fast, allows you to easily save the game and best of all you can use it with the 2.0 eboot loader :icon_smil

have any of you used dgen 1.20??
its almost perfect. i have the frameskip set at 1 and it plays pretty much all games perfect *even the sonic games.* much better release than the previous dgens. *yet i never saw any news on it being released on this site.* |

i can admit, DGEN is the best by a long shot. much more configurable too. you can now play sonic 2 wih sound support too. i had that problem also, but it got fixed in a later release? trust me, DGEN is a lot lot smoother than psp genesis. if you go on a sonic game on genesis, sonic just turns into a ball when you have a shield. however, with dgen, you can see him and the flickering which is meant to happen.
