So far currently, there is no GOOD emulators for GBA for the PSP
Your going to have to wait a few weeks or months until a new version or a new emulator comes out...unless....
You want to play with no sound and still have horrible speed in the game....

In all honesty, I dont see any GBA emulation happening until somebody cracks the kernel of the PSP's operating system. GBA emulation is far more complex than SNES. Although there is not much difference graphlically, you are looking at 10 yrs worth of technology and code verses the two systems.
I have a Nintendo DS and a GBA, Also got into homebrewing 2 years ago with a GBA flash card.. I run an XG_FLASH 1.0 and it runs GBA games great on a gba or NDS. I was saving my energy to buy a passkey and flash card for the DS, but I got my hands on a PSP last month and i can definately see a huge difference in possibilities

Yes. the GBA emu scene is still quite slow. You'll have to wait.
