Default Recommend your fav RIN roms

Hi all,

How about a thread recommending 3 of your favourite RIN roms with a bit of info about them so people can check out different games for the RIN emu. Here are my 3 favourites at the mo:

1. Tetris DX-based on the classic tetris game. In colour with loads more gaming options.

2. Mario Tennis- this is pretty fun, if you like tennis games you'll probably like this.

3. Super Mario Brothers-ported over from the NES, exactly the same version. Great if your a fan of the super mario land series on the original gameboy.

ugh...

Miss, did you know that RIN is a GBC/GB emulator?

Why not call the Roms GBC/GB Roms...not "Rin Roms"

Sorry to be a *******.

Resident Evil Gaiden is actually a decently fun game with save state. I can promise you you will all get a good chuckle out of Leon's headshot sprite (It looks like he lives under a bridge and eats goats..)

Anyone who hans't played Metal Gear for the GBC is seriously missing out on some incredible gameplay. It find it sad when I can wring more fun of out this game then most PSP titles.

Lastly, Mega Man Xtreme 1 and 2 should not be missed. They are incredible at mimicking the SNES and PSX versions and boast so much content.

Oh man, do I ever know where you're comin from--these 4 were some of the greatest titles to come out in the GBC's last days. Resident Evil sports surprisingly decent graphics and gameplay for such an underpowered system. MGS: Ghost Babel is an excellent new Snake story (and we all can't get enough of THAT). It reminds of the original Metal Gear for NES, with obvious enhancements of course. And the MMXtreme games were a lifesaver during classes, my eyes bugged out when I saw the SNES/PSX levels represented on that tiny screen. Too good.

I've also been playing Beatmania GB1/2 to get my Bemani fix on the go.

YES there we go i was waiting for someone to say MGS for GBC... to me thats like the only TRUE worth playing game there was on the GBC... I think even gamespot gave it 9.2 out of 10... and they gave MGS for PS1 like 8.7 or something like that which is insane lol. HIGHLY recomended game imo..

MGS for GBC rules, but I've been having a problem with it in RIN. Near the start, when you go into the elevator, the game locks up. Do I just have a bad ROM?

Also, another great game would be Shantae. One of GBC's bets games, in my opinion.

R-Type DX
Rainbow Islands
Pop'n Pop
Magical Chase
Mr.Driller
Harvest Moon
