PSPGenesis: Ghouls 'N Ghost Freezes?

It's frustrating as all hell, but I get to a point in Ghouls N' Ghosts (tried many number of ROMS out there) and the game freezes. If you've played the game, it locks up after you get out of the zone with the purple tongue statues.

Are there any other games that freeze up and is there any advice on how to get it to push through? Thanks.

There is a couple of games I have problems with. Ys 3 would freeze as soon as you start it, and Marvel Land would freeze if you paused it or got a game over. Thats all I know of though. And unfortunately I don`t think theres a way to get through it

Actually I did find a way of getting through it. It's not ideal, but if you recognize the part that freezes, you can do a save state in PSPGenesis. Start a new game or shut down and you can continue from that point. I'm hoping to post this and have them put it as a sticky. Works on the few games I know that lock.

gen version sucks nywayzz... as well as the nes... the snes one is decent tho

Give the SNES version a try (Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts), works perfect using Snes9xTYL 0.2c.

Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts is not the same game. I'll play it after I beat Ghouls 'N Ghosts, but the levels and game play is different.
