One version of Final Fantasy III (SNES) I have is screwing up and I got about halfway through. I got a new version and it's playing great but I want to transfer my save to the new one. Is it possible or do I have to finish the game on a crappy ROM?

im pretty sure the save files are not saved ont eh roms, they are saved as .SRM (i THINK) if not, then try saving the state of teh game your in with the emulator, finding the save state on your memory card, and renaming it to your better rom's name (also, im not sure if it will work, fairly sure though..)
