front mission and tales snes

in front mission when you get to the 4th city i think it has hope or peace somewhere in its name the text would be all messed up and it wont let you go on no matter what button you press. oh yah also in tales of phantasia when you leave the first town it would freez. can anyone help me please

yup i had the same problem with tales of phantasia but it runs really smoothly

this is a problem when using the Unofficial SNES series. For games that dont work on the UO_SNES series, refer to the other series which is instead of y i believe A. That should fix your problems. I always loved Tales of Phantasia

yeah some games only work on the .003a version which older but is compatible with some games the Y versions are not

I actually found a way to play Tales on the Y series. What you need to do is download the latest "A" Emulator and copy your Tales of Phantasia Rom in there. Start it up and exit the first town. State save then exit. Go and copy the new state save you just made into the Y series for your Tales game. If you load it up you should be able to play. I only tested it to see if I could move around. I never got into a battle or loaded another screen so I don't know how long that will work for.

You could also just play it on the A series but it doesn't run as smooth. Hope this helps :)

hmm i never heard that before, i doubt that it runs though i mean even the mods havnt found a way and they ALWAYS do

Go into a new area and it freezes again...i have already tried this
