hi,

okay so ive got the rar file i unsip the iso and then put it into a new zip file but when i go to load it, it says unable to read some file cant remember can anyone help me?

EDIT//: the name of the file was IPL.TXT

you dont need it in a zip file.
--neocd
-> Game name
-> game files extracted with neocd.mp3 folder.

ok, well now it loads the zip file but then it shows the loading screen then the FPS in the top right corner but then it freezes or something cuz it doesn't do anything. and if u press the L trigger then the screen goes black and the psp shuts off.

i had to do the following with metal slug 2.

first i created a metal slug2 directory within psp\game\neogo\
then i extracted all the files with the iso file into the metal slug2 directory
then i put all the mp3 files in the neomp3 directory and now it works great.

You can't zip an iso!

an iso is already its own compression... i suggest you download winrar if it is not alrdy installed.... now

Right click on the iso u want to extract... and select extract to "here will be the name of the iso, ex metalslug".

when its done extrtacting, open the folder and press ctrl + a

now rightclick on one of the items (they should all be highlighted) and go add to archive.

change the compression from rar to zip, and use a normal compression because it will allow faster speeds than a highly compressed zip.

now rename ur zip to what u want (ex mslug.zip)

now u can set up ur mp3s the way explained in the readme, and place ur zipped cd into the correct place also, it should now work

can someone help me het this to work? I don't understand whats going on, I do everything u guys say here, make a sub folder on the neocd folder, then put the .zip game in there, Where that zip is next to it make that mp3 folder. I added 2 mp3's of my choice and renamed them on how the Read Me file said. I load up the emulator, I select the ROM, tells me the game can run slower when file is zipped. I hit X or circle to continue anyway. Screen goes black, memory sticks flashes for a while, then just stays black. When I click the home button, then hit it again to exit the home screen, im brought back to the emulator. Why is this happening? And I was reading b4u guys are talkign about .iso. I was looking through the roms I got and I dont see anywhere any ISO or things like that. DO I have bad ROMs or something?

first thought is you may need the BIOS file. actually you probably do need it cause i dont think you would of known to track it down. also this is NEOGEOCD the files come as ISOs which you unpack and repack it like the readme says. if this is a confusing post my bad. i had a long day.
