Standard A Question on two roms (very weird problem) for SNES Emulator

I was trying to play Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana's sequel) And it seems like Secret of Mana's lettering in the opening menu are kinda jumbled together. I played the same ROM file on my comp and everything works fine there. I can read everything perfectly.

I was playing Seiken Densetsu 3 the english translated one on my comp and it works perfectly fine also. I then load it up into my PSP and start playing it and I can't read anything the dialogue is saying. All the wording is like all put together in one. I can read a little bit of it but its very hard. If I turned my screen view from "Normal view" to "Fit BL view" on my psp SNES emulator menu, I can read the dialogue fine.

The thing with "Fit BL view" though, the screen keeps flashing between black and white and its very very hard to read. It hurts my eyes.

My question....Is there any way to fix this? I really wanna play Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3

Can someone check this out for me? I am using the emulator Uo_SNES9x. Its weird that its only happened to me with these two ROMs, I've also tried other versions of those ROMs from other different sites and its still the same results. If anyone can figure out this problem your help is very much appreciated. Thank you for your time guys.

It's not a bad copy, if you are using the uo snes emu change it to a BL mode to fix the opening letters to pick name etc though this will cause the screen to flicker the rest of the game is fine though :)

I tried doing that Krugg, but the rest of the dialogue in the game is still all funny looking, can't read it at all, for Seiken Densetsu 3. Any other suggestions?

that is the problem right there . you see secret of mana 2 (sieken densetsu) has a very complex graphics structure.and it wasn't playable until a certain version of snes9xtyl came out. i tried 0032 before i tried tyl and most of my games i liked didn't work on 0032

    Shut up.

I'm pretty sure SDIII runs in some kind of hi-res mode; I had the text problem on my PC for a while. It just doesn't work well on the PSP without tyl 0.2c.

Anyway... I'm running 2.5 with uo_Snes9x v.0.02y32 and dude is right, putting the Screen Size on any of the BL settings fixes the way the text looks but unfortunately, BL and its blinking is just too much for me. Hopefully this'll get fixed in the future, that'd be terrific.

man i just posted this same question a few minutes ago in another topic, i have the same problem. anyway i d/l a patch that translates the jap text to eng and it had a README with it. the README said that if the text is garbled then there is probably a problem with the emu. the snes9x is only a beta version guess we just have to wait for a new one

i know how ya feel, im dyin to play SOM3 also...hawke and his ninja skill rock

BL keeps flashing black and white for me, its very annoying. Hopefully this gets fixed in the new snes9x. By the way, is there one coming out soon?
