Shoot Em' Up for SNES/Genesis

I've been playing Super R-Type, Zero Wing, U.N. Squadron and others but what I really want is the top down one like the 194(x) series for the arcades/mame, anyone know any good ones.

true lies for the snes was a good shooter from top view....was raiden project for the snes?

contra on the snes has a couple of levels that are top-down... but i guess most of the game is side-scrolling. great game nonetheless!
