Question about ROMs

Im new to homebrew so i dont know much about ROMs, should a ROM be just one file and if i wanted to put it on a GBC emulator should i make a new file in the emu or place the romes with the emulator (in the same folder)

ROMs are one file. In general, you can put the ROMs anywhere you wish on the memorystick; the included readme file will specify if it doesn't. In the case of RIN, you can make a ROM folder anywhere.
