Snes Tyl 3 Me - Chrono Trigger Issue

Just loaded up Chrono Trigger on the latest emu. Never played this one before and I seemed to hit an issue. In the opening screen, where you enter your name, the characters do not show up. For example, I select the letters in the lower portion of the screen, but they do not appear in the box at the top. When the game starts, my name is appears correctly.

I also saw this when I entered te first "town". There is a festival going on, and one of the booths has someone selling items. I can see the description of the item (guessing it was a healing potion or herb, etc...), but I cannot see the item names in the middle-upper portion of the screen.

Any help appreciated.

you have to change the graphics engine...change it from psp accelerated to psp accurate
