Because of the success and relative popularity of the original Tecmo Bowl, Tecmo would go on to make more games in the series. Super Tecmo Bowl added more plays and was one of the first console football games to feature any sort of hard-core stat tracking. The series appeared later on the Super Nintendo, the Genesis, and even the PlayStation, but by the time the PlayStation version was released, Tecmo had lost sight of what had made the series so popular by attempting to create a game that would compete with football simulations.

Yeah, I actually play in a tecmo bowl league, and yes there are NES and SNES versions. They are almost identicle games. SNES has a few added options and newer rosters. I have seen Tecmo Bowl update rosters for almost all the years after its release you just gotta search it. Also there is a program called TSB Manager which allows anyone to change and alter the game anyway they like. To bad NEsterJ for psp doesn't have wifi or we could hook up a psp tecmo league.

yeah im now using tsb manager to fix the rosters but what about for like the team icons or anything like that?
