Super Mario World - Iggy's castle
So..i just got the snes emulator recently. Whenever i get to Iggy's castle and get to the boss, the sprites for the little platform and Iggy aren't there. I can only see the lava, but the game goes on and Iggy kills me. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
I found one rom that's just super mario world and one that's Allstars + mario world, and they both do the same thing. Please help

Do you have Transparcy Off?
when you turn that off, it sometimes takes some stuff out of the game.
I noticed this in TMNT:Turtles in Time.. Sometimes bosses disapear and such...Try the Transparacy thing.*Under Construction*

this means ur frameskip is too high... u dont need any frameskip for super mario world... use 333mhz for ur cpu speed, i believe i posted my settings somewhere i will see if i can find them
edit -
here u are (this is for the snes9x UO y's emulator for fw 2.01+ ill see if i can find what i said for tyl) -
frameskip - 3 (or 2) [this would be 0 for super mario world]
auto frameskip - on
sound - off (on will decrease speed, but at least u will have sound)
sound rate - 44khz (only if u have sound on)
psp clock - 333mhz
sound speed - x1
gfx speed - x1
EVERYTHING ELSE SHOULD BE OFF, ESPECIALLY VSYNCGeändert von Simpson17 (02-07-2006 um 05:49 PM Uhr)

i tried using 3 versions of the emulator... .2, .3, and the new patched one that came out like 2 days after .3 (i'm running fw1.5 btw)
my frameskip is at 0 already, vsync is already off, and the "No Transparency" is off because if i turn it on the lava goes away too haha
WHOA in the middle of writing this msg, i decided to change the GFX Engine and now it works
On PSP Accelerated it doesn't work, but if i put it on PSP Accelerated + Acc. Software it works perfectly. Thanks anyways guys =D

Yes you need to change the GFX engine and it fixes it.

I was using PSP Accelerated, had the same problem, changed the GFX to the next one, it worked.
Should work for you as well.
