How Do you save your Progress in Snes games?

uhm... im currently playing Crono Trigger and like.. how do you save it?? im also playing FF3. can anyone help me?

depending on what emu you are using you either push the joystick left and it will bring up a menu or you have to hold down the shoulder buttons L and R and select at the same time.

After you open up the menu, just click save state and pick a place you want to save.

I wouldn't rely too much on save state as they're normally incompatable with PC emulators. But if you're not doing that then go ahead and do what FrozenIpaq is saying. What I do is save the game using the games own save function(or how you should normally save it) then export the SAV(Gameboy) or SRM(Super Nintendo) file to a PC emulator so I can continue my progress from there. You must also remember to NEVER rename anyone of these files, as they wouldn't be recognized.

If you are talking about save states, then go to the menu with the right analog and go to save state


if you mean actually in game, then for chrono trigger go to the menu screen in-game(default: triangle button) and go to save
