Transfer Save States?

Just wondering, is there anyway to transfer a save state that u played on a computer emulator to ur psp emulator and vice versa.

you have to save with the save feature of the game(i.e. in a gameboy emulator press start usually and then go to save on the menu).

then take the file made(usually a .sav) and put it in the save folder on your psp emulator.

No, that's not it but you're on the right track. .SAV is not a save state just the save file, which is compatible with other PC emulators. The actual save state for RIN is .tno file or .sno file. This format isn't compatible with any other emulator besides RIN.

I've notice that when you save a state on SNES, it wont work on a lower version of the emulator. Is it just me or is this normal?

Load up your saved state on ZSNES or SNES9x then go to your closest save point...save your game, now copy the .Srm file to your PSP mem stick....this is how you do it for the SNES...

Saved state files are different on PSP then they are on he computer versions...so saved state fom comp to PSP cant be done...only saved game from comp to PSP.

The newer versions compressed the file more..that's why it doesnt usually read them...I have never encountered this problem though
